Enclave RP Regulations

The following rules are essential to the operation of Enclave RP in its entirety. Incompetency and ignorance will not serve you well. Please familiarize yourself with the following regulations. Categories that are tagged with a (*) are only applicable to Enclave RP #1.

Discord/OOC regulations:

1) No hate speech: This pertains to any/all forms of discrimination (homophobia, sexism, racism).

2) No harassment: OOC/VOIP harassment is not tolerated.

3) No metagaming: Enclave RP prohibits the use of external information that transcends the limitations of DayZ. An example of metagaming would be to use information gained from a Reddit post of Twitch stream in order to find out the location of a player. Essentially, it is an advantageous usage of external information. Please use the “IC Trade” or “IC announcement” channel for IC related negotiations/announcements. Posting explicit character information in other chats is frowned upon.
4) DDOS/Doxxing: Any DDOS threats that pertain to any server(s) owned by Enclave RP will result in a permanent ban. The same discipline is applicable to doxxing.
5) NSFW content: NSFW content is only allowed in the #shit-posting discord chat. All other channels must remain SFW.

6) Enclave RP prohibits the usage of third-party VOIP services on our servers. Players may only use in-game proximity chat and radio chat. Any communication outside of this will be classified as meta-gaming.

Exploitation & unfair conduct:

1) Exploiting game mechanics is prohibited: Enclave RP condemn the exploitation of mechanics that provide the player within an unfair advantage. An example of this would be the stacking of campfires successively to provide access to another player’s base.
2) Hacking: Enclave RP has a zero-tolerance policy on people using malicious software (aim-bots, loot menus etc). Hacking on Enclave will eventually result in a BE ban.

3) VAC bans: Players who join Enclave with pre-existing VAC’s will be placed on a blacklist for 1 year - this will be waivered after 1 year of good behaviour.
4) Rule-breaking: If you encounter a player breaking rules, please submit a ticket (#create-ticket). You are not permitted to break rules to counter a rulebreaker.

(*) In-character RP:

1) IC RP: While in-character on the Enclave RP server, you are required to play as the character you are developing; OOC incidents must not take precedence over the RP dynamic.

2) Value for life: Undervaluing your character’s life undermines the RP experience entirely. It is considered good form to value the health and well-being of your character.
3) OOC communication: If OOC communication is needed, please use the text chat.
4) Rape/sexual RP/IC discrimination: Rape, sexual RP and IC discrimination are prohibited. Please don’t embarrass yourself.
5) Upon death: When a character dies, they lose memories of their past life. They are prohibited to return to their place of death for 1 hour. Character is allowed to retain their faction affiliations.

6) Perma-death: Enclave RP does not enforce a perma-death.
7) Impersonation: Characters are not permitted to impersonate other characters under any circumstances.
8) Radio silence: Upon initiation, if you are asked to turn off your radio off, you are required to mute discord/TS etc.

(*) Engagements and hostility:

1) Civilian Zones (CZ) are strictly for RP and abide by the following regulations (CZ's constitute everywhere that is not an MZ - see the): 1.1) KOS is NOT tolerated.

1.2) Hostility must be initiated clearly using VOIP (including raids).

1.3) Refusal to comply gives the aggressor KOS rights.

1.4) KOS rights for the captive are granted upon hostile initiation and last for 45 minutes.
1.5) Following the initiation of hostility and the complicity of an individual, the aggressor is required to provide a form of basic care. This constitutes protecting the vulnerable captive from environmental hazards, providing basic rations and medical attention.

1.6) Base raiding is NOT allowed within the (CZ) unless a detailed declaration of hostility is announced through VOIP - KOS rights are granted when compliance is refused. Offline raiding is prohibited.

2) Military Zones (MZ): KOS is allowed within MZ zones (RED ZONES)

(2.1) KOS is allowed but RP is encouraged.

(2.2) There are no rules for engagement.

(2.3) Hostage nurture is not required (

2.4) Base raiding is allowed within the (MZ) and offline raiding is NOT allowed.

(2.5) Base raiding has a 48-hour cooldown.
